Discover the beauty of repair through the traditional Japanese art of Boro and visible mending. In this mindful, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to transform worn or damaged fabric into something beautifully unique using simple hand-stitching techniques inspired by Japanese textile traditions.
Participants will explore patching, layering, and decorative sashiko-style stitching while creating a one-of-a-kind repaired textile piece. This workshop celebrates sustainability, creativity, and the stories our fabrics carry.
Perfect for beginners and craft lovers alike, this relaxing session encourages slow stitching, creative expression, and giving treasured garments a new life. All materials are provided, but participants are welcome to bring a small garment or fabric item they would like to mend.
