About the workshop:

Discover the beautiful Japanese art of Kinusaiga, a unique no-sew technique where fabric is carefully tucked into a base to create stunning textured designs. Often referred to as “patchwork without a needle,” this calming craft transforms simple materials into intricate works of art.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to design, cut, and layer fabric pieces to create your own framed Kinusaiga artwork. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll explore color combinations, textures, and composition while enjoying a mindful and creative experience.

We will be working through an introduction to Kinusaiga techniques, how to transfer and prepare your design, tools and materials used, fabric selection and color harmony including cutting and fabric placement method.

All tools and materials included. A variety of fabrics to choose from. Selection of pre-designed templates or create your own.
