About the Workshop:

Discover the textured and expressive art of punch needle embroidery in this beginner-friendly workshop. This hands-on session introduces you to creating simple landscape-inspired designs using yarn, colour, and texture. We will be discussing fabric choice, needle options and yarn options. The design allows participants to get comfortable with changing yarn and needle types.

You’ll learn the basics of punch needle tools, fabric setup, and stitching techniques while exploring how to translate hills, fields, skies, and natural elements into layered, tactile artwork. Step-by-step guidance makes the process accessible and enjoyable, even if you’re new to fibre arts.

This workshop offers a relaxed and creative space to slow down, experiment with colour, and enjoy the rhythmic nature of punch needle work. By the end of the session, you’ll complete a small landscape piece and gain the skills and confidence to continue punch needle projects at home. Take home kit included.
