About the Workshop:

Learn the beautiful and rhythmic art of tambour embroidery in this beginner-friendly Tambour Needle Workshop. Using a special hook needle, tambour embroidery allows you to create delicate chain stitches quickly and fluidly, making it both satisfying and expressive.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided through the basics of using a tambour needle, setting up your fabric, and mastering the continuous chain stitch technique. You’ll explore how this method can be used for decorative embroidery, embellishment, and creative textile projects.

No prior embroidery experience is required. This workshop offers a relaxed and supportive space to learn a new skill, build confidence, and enjoy the meditative flow of stitching. By the end of the session, you’ll have a completed sample piece, consisting of thread, beads and sequins and the foundation to continue practicing tambour embroidery at home, with your take home kit, included in the workshop booking.
